RatPac Entertainment is a global media, and entertainment company which finances and produces motion pictures, television, documentaries, live theater, book publishing, games and podcasts. The company was originally founded  by seasoned internet, media and resort investor James Packer and award winning Hollywood director and producer, Brett Ratner, whose motion pictures as a director have grossed in excess of $2B and who also serves as its CEO.

RatPac Entertainment has co-financed 81 theatrically released motion pictures exceeding $17 billion in worldwide box office receipts. RatPac’s co-financed films have been nominated for 59 Academy Awards, 25 Golden Globes and 43 BAFTAs and have won 25 Academy Awards, 8 Golden Globes, and 24 BAFTAs. 

In 2013, RatPac partnered with Dune Entertainment on a multi-year motion picture co-financing arrangement with Warner Bros. Financing over 1 billion dollars for 75 films including Gravity, The LEGO Movie, Annabelle, American Sniper, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Conjuring 2, Suicide Squad, The LEGO Batman Movie, Kong: Skull Island, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Stephen King’s It and Ready Player One. RatPac has also partnered with New Regency on numerous films including the Academy Award-winning Birdman and The Revenant. 

Through its RatPac Documentary Films label, RatPac develops and finances a number of award winning feature length theatrical documentaries and shorts, including the Peabody Award winning and Emmy nominated Holocaust documentary Night Will Fall,  Author: The JT LeRoy Story, as well as Before The Flood featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, which chronicles his campaign to raise global awareness about the dangers of climate change in his role as a UN Ambassador of Peace.
